“Color Blocking”

Looking through the booooooom website this collection of photographs by Adam Frint caught my attention because of its simplicity and yet odd complexity. I liked the uniformity of all of the images in the collection, which all show a person holding up a different colored rectangle in a different location, and got out of them all a theme of standing out and yet blending in at the same time. I’m not exactly sure if this was the artist’s intention from reading the article but I find the incorporation of the human figure and yet lack of personal features in all of the photos to be quite interesting and thought provoking.
