This photographic series by Olivia Solodko is meant to convey the odd comfort and warm feeling we often get from thinking about the past. It comments on our tendencies to frame the past in an unusually positive light despite any hardships we may have faced. I found the warmer colors and the subject matters themselves to be very enticing, especially this photo of the hand holding the cherries. The one hand seems about to drop the cherries, however the shadow of the other hand against the wall (representing the past) appears as if it is ready to catch the cherries if they were to fall, or grab their shadow altogether.
