As I was researching inspiration for our current project, I came across Italian graphic designer Giacomo Carmagnola and his signature style he calls “Glitch Art.” He manipulates vintage photographs on Photoshop with these digital waterfalls that add a new, eerie meaning to the original art. I thought that this related to our current work with abstraction as he draws inspiration from media and uses different shapes to create meaning.
