I found this article super interesting because it actually talked about the creative process behind the making of a mural that spanned 40 feet wide. The idea for the mural itself actually came from a quick sketch that Alex Pardee did in around 20 seconds. He revised it and revised it until he produced something that he found exciting and interesting which became the final image. I really enjoyed seeing the image develop as he revised it, giving me a greater appreciation for the creative process in developing any work and the patience and diligence it requires. I also never considered how much more difficult it can be scaling up an image without the use of a program like Illustrator and the challenges that arise. However I was super impressed with how he dealt with them, such as warping the image on photoshop so it looked correct when projected from an angle onto the wall.
