Hong Kong Skyscrapers and Feng Shui

Some skyscrapers in Hong Kong have some interesting design elements to them, and that is due to how feng shui, or the principle of shaping an individual and their environment to be in tune with energy forces for good good fortune, influences the architecture of these buildings. For example, in this photo, there is a large hole inside this building known as a dragon’s gates, meant to allow positive energy to pass through the holes. This is just one prominent example of how the city’s design is influenced by this principle, and in fact, there is even an entire job market dedicated to feng shui experts meant to consult building designers.
